Many of us don’t know in which category our skin falls! This is strange but true. People often ignore the fact that every skin-type requires different treatment to maintain its originality. If you aren’t aware of to which type your skin belongs, we have a detailed manual to determine the skin-type. Here, have a look:
These 3 Easy Steps Will Check Your Skin-Type
Step 1. Notice How Your Skin Feels:
Normal Skin: If your skin feels balanced and even, it’s normal.
Oily Skin: Oily skin feels greasy and looks shiny all over.
Sensitive Skin: Sensitive skin feels itchy, sometimes dry and patchy.
Dry Skin: If the skin looks & feels tight, it is probably dry.
Combination Skin: Combination skin feels oily in the T-Zone and dry elsewhere. When you can’t decide whether the skin is dry or oily, you might have the combination skin.
Step 2. Examine Your Pores
Normal Skin: With normal skin, your pores are unnoticeable.
Dry Skin: People with dry skin generally have small, tight pores.
Oily Skin: Oily skin often shows up large pores that get clogged easily.
Combination Skin: If you have large pores around the nose, but small on the cheeks, this signals for combination skin.
Sensitive Skin: Sensitive skin differs in pore size, but it might react to different products.
Step 3. Notice how your skin feels after cleansing
Normal Skin: After cleansing, your skin feels all clean & fresh.
Dry Skin: Cleansing will make the skin feel dried out and dehydrated.
Oily Skin: Soon after cleansing, the skin will look normal, but it would begin to feel oily soon after.
Sensitive Skin: Cleansing process makes the sensitive skin all itchy & irritated.
Combination Skin: Clean and normal face except the cheeks might feel dry & tight.
Knowing your correct skin-type is very important as your skincare depends on that. If you don’t know by now, determine it with these simple steps.
